Cadet Master Chief Petty Officer J'Kai Lake, a student at the Bridgeport Military Academy, has made history by becoming the first cadet from the academy to be nominated to all four U.S. service academies.

Lake has received nominations to West Point, the Air Force Academy, the Merchant Marine Academy, and the U.S. Naval Academy, which are among the most selective institutions in the country.

The Bridgeport Military Academy provides cadets with hands-on training in public safety careers, including first responder, military, police, and fire services.
