Neighbors in the North End of Bridgeport say they have seen a string of burglaries within the past two weeks.

Police say they are not releasing specific information about the burglaries.

A burglar allegedly broke into a man's house while two children were in their rooms. The father came home to find broken glass on the kitchen floor. Another resident claims that she could have been a victim of burglary after a young man came to her back door asking for someone she did not know.

Bridgeport Police Capt. Brian McCarthy advises residents to lock their doors and watch out for their neighbors.
