A Bridgeport city council committee met this evening to decide if a controversial youth curfew is possible.
A proposal would require all kids under 17 years old to be indoors by 11 p.m.
The American Civil Liberties Union slammed the idea in a letter to the city council, saying it is a constitutional violation.
An attorney says the ACLU would challenge the law in court.
Bridgeport officials said they needed more time to discuss the proposal before voting.
