Bridgeport police are renewing their call for help from the public in solving the largest mass shooting in the city's history.
Two months have passed since 13 people were shot when two gunmen opened fire through hedges into a crowded backyard house party on Plymouth Street. Investigators tell News 12 Connecticut that they urgently need help from the public in solving this case.
Police say they have reason to believe there were about 100 people at that house party, but about 50 left before police arrived. Investigators say that core group of people are in possession of critical details that investigators need to know.
Police say anybody who comes forward will enjoy total anonymity, which means they do not have to worry about reprisals from any of the people involved in this shooting.
