Bridgeport police say they are looking for at least two suspects who left a man dead at a grocery store Sunday evening.
It is the city’s eighth homicide of the year.
Some employees at Mambo Grocery say they knew the victim pretty well, and that he was just hanging around the store a little before 10 p.m. when the incident occurred.
Video surveillance shows the victim trying to get into the store before someone from behind hits him with what appears to be a two-by-four. He's then dragged outside the store and tries to enter again. That’s when the attacker beats him on the ground and leaves him lying on the floor.
Employees say the man later died at the hospital.
