Bridgeport police announced the city will hold another gun buyback event this weekend.
Police say the department will accept working weapons at the Sylvan Avenue substation from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. tomorrow.
Officials say residents can receive $100 for a rifle, $200 for a hand gun, and up to $400 for an assault rifle.
They say 1,000 guns have been turned in through buyback programs over the past three years.
