Bridgeport police say a man was shot in the head late Sunday morning.

Detectives say it happened on the 200 block of Goddard Avenue around 11:20 a.m.

He was taken to the hospital where he was in critical condition as of Sunday night.

Bridgeport police ask anyone with information about the shooting to contact them.
