Bridgeport police are asking the public's help searching for a man missing since 2016.

Bridgeport police are asking the public's help searching for a man missing since 2016.
Frederick Richardson, 75, went missing in May of 2016.
Police say there has been no new information regarding his disappearance.
Richardson was last seen alive on May 8, 2016, or the early morning hours of May 9, 2016, in the Stamford area. A silver alert was issued for Richardson on May 10, 2016. His car was found abandoned on I-95 northbound near exit 9.  
Three months after Richardson went missing, police say his son was fatally shot while sitting in a parked car with his friend.
Police say they had been looking into whether Richardson's disappearance and the killing of his son were connected.
Police say there's been no new information on Richardson's disappearance since May of 2016.
