A homeowner in Bridgeport has released a video of two men wearing monkey masks attempting to commit an armed robbery at her house.

The homeowner's daughter, Nilda Barahoma, says two suspects approached the house and that one of them was carrying a large rifle. She says her mother checked the cameras to see who was there when they knocked and immediately knew not to open the door.

She says she is thankful the men decided to leave when no one answered.
