According to police, a 26-year-old man was in critical condition after suffering a large stab wound on the school's baseball field.
Police say they identified suspect Gerald W. Valle in Pine Prairie, Louisiana on March 8 and were able to apprehend him. He was then extradited back to Bridgeport.
Valle is facing multiple charges including assault in the first degree. He has a $300,000 bond and is expected to appear in Bridgeport Superior Court on Tuesday.
