5h agoA man was attacked and stabbed with a machete off Madison Avenue in Bridgeport, police say.
Police say the stabbing happened around 8:30 p.m. Sunday near Madison Avenue and Beer Street at a high school baseball field adjacent to John F. Kennedy Stadium.
Police say the attacker used a machete and that the victim was stabbed in the abdomen.
The victim is in critical condition and officers say the victim and his attacker knew each other.
Police say anyone with information about the incident is asked to call police at 203-576-TIPS.
