Bridgeport Mayor Bill Finch announced today the city is receiving a federal grant to help fix up Johnson Oak Park.
Finch says the city is receiving a $350,000 grant to help transform the park.
He says the community is playing a big role in deciding what they want to add to the space, and students at the Tisdale School have gotten hands-on in making those plans.
The project is expected to take about three years to complete.
