A vital program for homeless mothers with young children is ready to make a difference.
The Bridgeport Rescue Mission is announcing the re-launch of the Renewed Life Program.
It dedicates a floor in the new Community Care Center, to housing up to 48 homeless women as well as children under 10 years old.
Services are made available to help mothers achieve long-term stability as they transition to independence.
"Now they have a place to come and it's a wonderful ministry to them. We give them free food, we give them free laundry, and we give them medical care all in this one facility," said Larry Fullerton, executive director of Bridgeport Rescue Mission.
The Bridgeport Rescue Mission is currently looking for donors to help ensure they can continue providing these services for free to those in need.
