FEMA's COVID-19 vaccination van launched in Bridgeport earlier this week, and people are saying it's now faster and easier to get a dose.
The truck was outside Bridgeport Department of Public Health on East Main Street Wednesday. People began showing up before 11 a.m. to get vaccinated with the Johnson & Johnson shot.
The mobile vaccination unit will be open Thursday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Hartford Healthcare says over 10 days, about 3,000 people will be vaccinated.
