News 12 is exploring Seaside Park in Bridgeport on this Road Trip: Close to Home.
With 2.5 miles of shoreline and 325 acres of beautiful landscape, Seaside Park in Bridgeport could be called an urban oasis.
Naturalist Mark Fowler of Grace Farms Foundation teamed up with News 12 to explore the coastal treasure.
A fan-favorite piece of history here at Seaside Park is the PT Barnum Museum. Barnum is one of the most famous residents of Bridgeport.
There are many things to do at Seaside Park including driving through Saint Mary’s by the Sea and Black Rock.
Visitors are encouraged to spend the day and enjoy the hidden gem on the coast of Bridgeport.
