Gov. Dannel Malloy says he is nominating state Rep. Auden Grogins to the state Superior Court.
Grogins, who was first elected to the House of Representatives in 2008, has 24 years of experience as an attorney.
She holds a law degree from Quinnipiac University.
A special election will have to be held to fill her seat.
