Sen. Richard Blumenthal met with the head of the Klein Memorial Auditorium in Bridgeport Sunday to discuss an important upcoming event at the venue.
Blumenthal says he is looking forward to taking part in the grand finale of the Klein's 75th anniversary celebration in November.
Organizers say they're proud to showcase everything from classical symphonies to rock concerts to full-scale stage productions at the venue.
A major concert event will be held on Nov. 14 at 8 p.m. to mark the climax of the celebration, according to Blumenthal.
