As members of the cast of "The Outsiders," Pacht and Mathura have built a friendship rooted in trust, support and the shared experience of bringing one of Broadway’s most powerful stories to life.
Sitting down with News 12’s Joel Crump, the two actors reflected on how working side by side has brought them closer, both as performers and as friends.

"The Outsiders" is based on S.E. Hinton’s classic 1967 novel and the 1983 film directed by Francis Ford Coppola, following Ponyboy Curtis, Johnny Cade and their greaser family in 1960s Tulsa, Oklahoma.
The Broadway musical, with a book by Adam Rapp and Justin Levine and music and lyrics by Jamestown Revival and Justin Levine, opened in 2024 and went on to win the Tony Award for Best Musical.
