Brookfield police say a man was found dead after an ATV crash discovered Friday night near Candlewood Shores Road.
The victim has been identified as 66‑year‑old Francis M. Flanagan III of Brookfield.
Police say they received a missing‑person report on June 26. A search of the area led officers to an ATV off the roadway and in the woods near Candlewood Shores Road. Police and EMS determined the sole occupant was deceased at the scene.
The incident remains under investigation by the Brookfield Police Department’s Accident Investigation Team. Anyone with information is asked to contact Officer Brian Flanagan at 203‑740‑4169.
