A group of Buddhist monks on a teaching tour in the United States spent the last few days at the Silver Hill Hospital for Mental Health & Addiction.

News 12’s Michelle Divon spent some time with the monks as well as hospital President Andrew Gerber.

“Mental illness is not new. It's been around for thousands of years,” says Gerber. “It's amazing to learn from non-Western cultures about their approaches.”
