Building Hope Foundation offers college scholarships for children of first responders, military personnel

The Building Hope Foundation announced Saturday that it will offer two college scholarships to the kids of military personnel, first responders and those working in the home-building industry.

The Building Hope Foundation announced Saturday that it will offer two college scholarships to the kids of military personnel, first responders and those working in the home-building industry.
The foundation is encouraging young people to aim high and achieve their dreams.
"The scholarships are for $4,000 each and…we have extended the deadline to the end of June," said Jan Schaefer, board director of the Building Hope Foundation.
The group also provides music therapy to veterans and people with special needs.
