A Bunnell High School Latin teacher and singer-songwriter says you can hear his latest single in a new Hollywood film.
Dylan Connor says he first met film director Brian Metcalf when they worked together on the Syrian documentary "Little Gandhi."
Metcalf says he called Connor when he needed a song for his new thriller, "Adverse," featuring Mickey Rourke.
With the festival circuit looming the singer-songwriter had just two weeks to write and record the perfect needle drop.
Connor calls the song a tender elegy to those who have lost a loved one to a car crash. The singer says he knows that pain all too well.
The singer says "Bring You Back" first came to him after losing a former student in an automobile accident.
Directed by Lou Spetrino, the music video for the single features the sketches of artist Marc Nelson. Both men are also school teachers.
Connor's sixth album was funded on Kickstarter and is due later this summer.
