A Bronx man says his 18th-floor apartment includes breathtaking views of Manhattan, parks and, unfortunately, trash yards.
Bryon Sterling called into News 12 The Bronx's "Ask the Borough President" show to complain about the problem. He claims he sees debris falling into the nearby Bronx River from the Hunts Point businesses. Sterling also complains he smells the trash.
In the South Bronx area near the river, there are two scrap yards, a cement factory and trash yard. Sterling says the businesses make it hard to enjoy two beautiful parks nearby.
Bronx Borough President Adolfo Carrión Jr. said his office is in the process of trying to move a scrap yard in the area to another location.
