A candidate forum was held in Bridgeport just two weeks before the primary election.
The forum was hosted by
CONECT at Congregation B'nai Israel Monday.
CONECT organizers say they are a group made up of churches, synagogues, mosques, temples, and civic organizations across Fairfield and New Haven Counties with a goal to take action on social and economic issues.
Gun control and immigration were some of the topics discussed among candidates for governor, attorney general and treasurer.
Candidates were asked yes or no questions and were given time to explain their answers.
