U.S. Capitol Police Officer Billy Evans will be laid to rest in Massachusetts today.
Officer Evans was killed earlier this month when a suspect rammed his car into a barricade near the Capitol.
It was an emotional scene at Bradley Airport last night when Evan's body arrived in Connecticut.
Connecticut State Police paid tribute to him as dozens of officers in cruisers and motorcycles led a funeral procession across the border to Massachusetts where Evans will be laid to rest.
President Joe Biden also honored his legacy at the Capitol Rotunda earlier this week.
