Some Westport residents are demanding action following surveillance video showing people rummaging through their cars.

The video appears to show people pulling up in cars on Wakenor Road, who then search for unlocked vehicles.

Stephen Janos-Porcs, a resident, says his car was one rummaged through, but nothing appeared to be taken. He called it “just wrong."

“You got to double-check the locks… you don't expect it in Westport, not in this area. Never had problems here,” he told News 12.

Westport police are asking anybody with information that can help lead to an arrest to call them.
