A person drove their vehicle through the Ridgefield post office Wednesday, fire officials say.
Firefighters were able to remove the driver, who was taken to the hospital.
Fire officials say they worked quickly to make sure everyone inside at the time was safe. No one else was injured.
It's not clear what led to the crash.
The post office was closed following the crash.
The U.S. Postal Services says the building safely reopened Thursday.
