A crash in Barkhamsted looked serious but ended with only minor injuries. Fire officials say the driver got out of the car on his own.
It happened just before 9 a.m. Sunday at East Hartland and Gavitt roads.
Another driver behind him saw the car go through the intersection, hit guardrails and land on its roof in a small creek.
Officials say the driver was lucky to walk away from the crash.
