One person suffered minor injuries after their vehicle went airborne and snapped a utility pole in Stratford Wednesday, police say.
It happened at 8:15 a.m. on Main Street, near East Main Street.
Police say the 38-year-old driver from Shelton lost control of the car, struck a curb and hit a front yard stone retaining wall of a home. The vehicle then went airborne and caused the car to roll over and hit the pole.
The driver was the sole occupant in the vehicle.
No one in the home was injured.
The 4000 block of Main Street was closed for several hours while police investigated but has since reopened.
