Cars were abandoned in the streets of Bridgeport's East End after Ida's downpours caused flash floods.
Tow crews are working around the clock to move vehicles that were left stranded in floodwaters.
Officials say there were at least 30 incidents involving stuck or submerged vehicles and 20 water rescues.
Ida moved east out of the region early this morning, but left areas flooded or without power across Connecticut.
