State Rep. Chris Caruso met with lawyers Wednesday to discuss possible legal action regarding the Democratic primary for Bridgeport mayor.
Caruso?s camp said they are ?questioning the integrity of the ballots.? They doubt the validity of the vote due to what they call serious voter irregularities with the new optical scanning voting systems.
State Sen. Bill Finch won the election 4537-4267 Tuesday to become the Democratic candidate. Despite Finch?s victory claims, Caruso has refused to concede the election.
Caruso also claims voters were paid to vote for Finch, but the lawmaker said those charges are hard to prove.
