Greenwich school officials say Central Middle School
students will be relocated to other buildings when classes resume on Monday.
An
engineering
report in January found that the school building had “significant
structural concerns.” District officials say crews are working to make the
building safe so it can reopen as soon as possible.
All grades will have a two-hour delayed opening on Monday.
Starting this week, sixth graders will be moved to Cos Cob
School, seventh grade to Eastern Middle School and eighth graders to Greenwich
High School.
