This week, Danny Segers of Letizia’s Pizza shows Tina Redwine how to make some delicious summer-time favorites.
Fried Dough
Buy pizza dough from award-winning Letizia’s or another pizza parlor for roughly $3 to $5 depending on the size you want.
Sprinkle counter with flour and pat the dough down a bit.
Cut it into several strips of the size you prefer and roll with your hands until you get a nice shape.
Either fry or for a healthier alternative try the following:
Put some oil on a baking sheet and roll the strips in the oil – Make sure to cover each completely..
Put in the oven as close to 600 as you can get to 600 degrees or outside on your grill. Let them bake for about 4 minutes or until the top is golden brown and then flip and keep in about 4 minutes on this side or until golden brown.
Sprinkle as much powdered sugar as you want on top and enjoy your warm and delicious taste of summer!
