Chelsea Clinton rallied support for her mother in Hartford Wednesday in advance of Connecticut's primary on Tuesday.
The former first daughter spoke at Dunns River restaurant of her mother's passion for gun reform and her determination to create more jobs across the country.
She also said her mother is the only candidate with a proven track record of delivering on Capitol Hill.
"When she was in the Senate, she doubled funding for early Head Start programs," she said. "She worked with some of the most Republican members of the House to overhaul adoption out of the foster care system."
Sen. Bernie Sanders' schedule online shows he will not be visiting Connecticut before Tuesday's primary. Hillary Clinton, meanwhile, will visit Hartford Thursday to hold a forum on gun violence.
