Stamford police say the woman known as the "Lazy Eye Bandit" is finally facing charges in Connecticut.
Officers say Cherly Townes stole $19,000 worth of jewelry from Kay Jewelers at the Stamford mall in 2006.
They say they only knew that the suspect had a lazy eye.
Police say Townes had been serving time in prison in New York for another crime and was extradited to Connecticut this week.
