Police say three people were fatally shot at a home in Wolcott.

Wolcott Police Chief Edward L. Stephens said David Cote, 59, pulled a gun and shot his 55-year-old wife, Michelle, and their 34-year-old son, David Cote Jr., during an argument in a bedroom.

Authorities say the son’s friend, who holds a legal firearm permit, then shot the father with his own gun. The friend’s name is being withheld pending the conclusion of the investigation.

News 12 obtained a recording of the friend, the sole survivor, making the 911 call.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Wolcott Police Department at 203-879-1414.
