A Bridgeport woman beat out everyone on the final episode this week of 'Chopped' on the Food Network.
The culinary school in Stamford she graduated from recognized her last night.
The Culinary Institute of America acknowledged Roshara Sanders for winning the show.
Sanders says in addition to getting a Bachelor's Degree from the institute, she served six years in the Army and was deployed overseas to Iraq and Afghanistan.
Sanders says attending the institute took her cooking to the next level, and she appreciates all the local support.
