Voters across southwestern Connecticut headed to the polls to have their voices heard in one of the nastiest presidential races in history.
Democrat Hillary Clinton and Republican Donald Trump campaigned up until the last minute.
Clinton will spend election night at the Javits Center in New York to wait for the results.
Trump headquarters is at the New York Hilton in midtown.
