Bundle up! It is a bitter cold to start to the week, and it doesn't look like it lets up. Temperatures this morning are near freezing but feel like it's in the teens and 20s.
Today's high is near 40 degrees, which is still much colder than the average high of 48. Much of the same is expected for Tuesday and Wednesday.
The next storm system will bring only limited rain showers overnight Wednesday into Thursday, but a few snowflakes could mix in on Thursday morning and reduce visibility for the commute.
The biggest impact from this storm will be the wind which could gust over 30 mph on Thursday afternoon. That stiff wind will dry us out quickly on Thursday, but it's also bringing in very cold air for the end of the week.
Morning lows will once again drop into the mid-20s for Friday and Saturday morning. Another storm is nearby next Sunday, but at this time, the forecast for next week is trending warmer.
