NOW & NEXT: Another dry day as we head into our mid-week. Highs will make it into the 50s but will continue to feel a lot colder through the afternoon. Breezy and dry conditions persist for western Connecticut through the rest of the week. This will result in elevating fire weather risk for the region as we are still dealing with poor drought conditions and winds gusting near 30 mph. Toward the end of the week, it is dry and cool still with a slight increase in temperatures heading toward Saturday. However, rain is still absent from the forecast through the week and weekend so it is likely that drought concerns will persist.
