NOW & NEW: Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Michele Powers says temperatures drop tonight under a clear sky and stay cold through Friday. Tracking somewhat milder temperatures through the weekend after winter starts off on the colder side. Generally a mostly cloudy sky both Saturday and Sunday. There is a risk passing showers on Sunday.

NEXT: Temperatures will warm up early next week after Christmas. Quieter weather overall at least through Tuesday. Milder temperatures in 50s are on the way but so is some rain. Traveling next week could be impacted by rain. Showers will start Tuesday, continue on Wednesday and into early Thursday. Colder temperatures will follow.

SATURDAY: Mostly cloudy. High of 41.
