Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Michele Powers says to expect a sunny and pleasant weekend for Connecticut.
NEW: Stalled front from yesterday is nearby and is keeping the weather warm and humid for now. Another front pushes through tonight and washes out over the area. Humidity levels will come down going into Sunday. Temperatures will also be lower and range from 78-82.
NEXT: Tracking some rain for late Monday into Tuesday. Scattered showers exit early Wednesday before really dry air takes over. Fall feel by Thursday and Friday of next week.
Franklin is now a Hurricane but stays out in the Atlantic. Moving into a more favorable area to strengthen into early next week.  Long period swells may affect our shores by Tuesday and Wednesday.
The next system that could develop is worth watching as it may affect the U.S. Gulf Coast first and perhaps bringing rain to the SE US.
