Connecticut residents are helping people in the Bahamas who were devastated by Hurricane Dorian.
Leaders with the DDH HOPE Foundation went looking for Connecticut natives to help send supplies.
Nelson Vasquez, from the Regulators Auto Club, answered the call, bringing supplies in dozens of cars from their group.
"All these teams from the community came together. Everybody brought something different to be able to help these people from the Bahamas. There's a lot of children that need our help. A lot of people. It's a beautiful thing. And we're grateful for the organization for letting us pitch in and help out," said Vasquez.
