? Some residents in Connecticut braced the bitter cold temperatures Friday, bundling up with layers of clothing to prevent the bone-chilling wind from hitting their skin.
Armed with a digital thermometer, News 12 Connecticut?s Kristi Faccenda headed out into Norwalk to see how cold it got for some of the objects residents come across every day.
The thermometer read the gas pump at 16 degrees, a door handle at 6 degrees and a shopping cart handle at 13 degrees.
Proving to be cold, some residents say the frigid temperatures are not enough to make them wear gloves or a coat.
