Westport, Bridgeport and Fairfield are just some of the communities observing International Overdose Awareness Day today.
Westport Libray will hold a Narcan training event from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Bridgeport officials are unveiling a memorial garden at Jay Brothers Unified Resource Center on Bond Stret from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Fairfield community members are holding an International Overdose Awareness Day vigil on Sherman Green at 7 p.m.
Torrington will also have an Overdose Awareness Day Resource Fair and Vigil at Coe Memorial Park at 6 p.m.
