A well-know Fairfield rib restaurant held an eating contest Sunday, drawing some of Connecticut's best to the table.
Locals voted Ash Creek Saloon the place with the best ribs nine out of the last 10 years. The business put its ribs where its reputation is. About 25 people scarfed down enough ribs to feed 300 people. Competitors say they prepared by drinking lots of water and practicing.
The winner walked away with $1,500 after eating six pounds of meat.
