Connecticut Department of Labor: September unemployment rate was 3.5%

Officials say Connecticut employers added 3,200 jobs in September and that the state has recovered nearly all of the jobs it lost during the pandemic.

The Connecticut Labor Department says the unemployment rate dropped to 3.5 % last month.
That's below the national unemployment rate of 3.8%.
Officials say Connecticut employers added 3,200 jobs in September and that the state has recovered nearly all of the jobs it lost during the pandemic.
The sectors that added the most jobs were government, services and manufacturing.
