The Connecticut Food Bank partnered with the city of Norwalk to distribute 1,500 turkeys Monday.
COVID-19 was not going to stop people from getting their turkeys safely this year.
There was a line of cars at Veterans Park with people coming to collect their Thanksgiving meal.
The mayor was there, as well as many volunteers, making sure people got their turkey safely.
With the pandemic, everyone stayed in their cars, and volunteers put the turkeys in the trunk.
