Connecticut held its Sept. 11 memorial service Wednesday night at Sherwood Island State Park in Westport.
Relatives and friends joined local leaders at the state's official Sept. 11 memorial for the ceremony.
More than 150 Connecticut residents were killed in the attacks in 2001.
The ceremony is always held on Sept. 10, so victims' families can attend services in New York the next day.
