5h agoThe Connecticut Korean Mission Church in Norwalk marked 31 years of serving the community on Sunday.
The parish held a special service to celebrate the anniversary.
Church leaders said the COVID-19 pandemic presented many challenges, but now they are back and excited about the future.
"Our church was barely running, and we got through it... the 31st anniversary is a victory for this church being in this community, and by the grace of God we are here today," said Jennifer Kwan.
State and local leaders also attended to celebrate the milestone.
